Placement activity starts from the pre-intern period where we start working on the skill of our students.Considering their interest in particular specilisation our training team works on polishing the skill required for that position.Other attributes include training on english communication,Resume building,interview preparation,aptitude test and general knowledge.We make sure that our students are well equipped to crack all interview rounds and secure the position for them.
An 8-week summer internship is a compulsory requirement of the SLM-MBA,PGP-MBA and
EDSML course.Every student of the course is expected to work in the industry for
a period of two months,during the summer months of April and May,after completing
the first year of the academic program.
The purpose of the summer internship is to give students an opportunity to apply management concepts learned during the first year to a live projects,so that they can better understand and analyse real world business problems.The internship also serves to give students a flavour of the industry they are working in which helps them in taking decisions about their long-term career paths,while also giving firms a chance to evaluate candidates in a more relaxed environment find the right fit their firms.
The recruitment process is at ISMS for its SLM, PGP and EDSML take place after the end of third semester. First stage is summer internship which also exceeds in the form of pre-placement offer for students .In certain cases,where student like to go for other choice have to go through the following steps.
- Lateral Placements ressing the needs of students with prior work-experience
- Final Placements for the entire eligible batch
The placement process, which is conducted by Training and Placement Cell of ISMS includes some or all of the following steps:
- Student Application & Shortlist base on CVs
- Group Discussion or Group Interaction
- Personal Interview(s)
- Final Offer roll-out & acceptance
