Why is it Done?

Assessment & Evaluation at ISMS is designed to assess students’ overall development beyond academic knowledge. Through continuous examinations, practical projects, case studies, presentations, assignments, and analytical assessments, students are evaluated on their conceptual understanding, problem-solving abilities, communication skills, critical thinking, and practical application of knowledge. Regular assessments and constructive feedback help students identify their strengths and areas for improvement while encouraging continuous learning and development. Our systematic and student-centric approach ensures that evaluation contributes to both academic excellence and professional growth. By connecting classroom learning with practical challenges, students gain valuable insights into real-world business situations and learn to make informed decisions. Class Attendance

Academic excellence is one of the top priorities at our institute. We have highly qualified faculty members who bring valuable expertise to the classroom. Apart from that, we collaborate with external faculties as well as per academic requirements.
To ensure effective learning, regular class attendance is essential. Attendance carries a 20% weightage in the overall evaluation for each subject, and it is calculated individually for every course.

Assignments

Students are given regular subject-wise assignments to help them gain an in-depth understanding of the practical aspects of each course. These assignments are evaluated by faculty members, and they carry a 10% weightage in the overall assessment.

Mentorship

In order for students to succeed in their careers and in life, our mentorship program helps them discover their strengths, improve their skills, and reach their full potential. A mentor helps students achieve their objectives by providing guidance, support, and clarity for both professional and personal development.

Students select mentors and collaborate closely with them to develop their abilities and grow into future business leaders. The program's main goal is to make students capable and responsible citizens while preparing them for the workforce.

By the end of two years, our students become confident, result-oriented, and ready to showcase the expertise and skills expected by the business. Above all, we are still dedicated to our fundamental beliefs.

10% Weightage

GD & Mock Interviews

Mock interviews and group discussions (GD) are essential for preparing students for success in the workplace. Participants in these sessions improve their ability to communicate, polish their cognitive processes, and gain the ability to comfortably and clearly express their views in real-world interview situations through guided practice and measured feedback.

Semester/Trimester

At ISMS Pune, semester grades are a thorough assessment of a student's academic achievement. They are predicated on ongoing evaluations, tests, involvement in class, and practical learning activities. This methodical grading approach guarantees authenticity, promotes constant effort, and plays a part in students' general growth throughout their academic careers.
The evaluation bears weightage on the final scorecard for each semester.
